"Kids in the kitchen"
The 5The Thessaloniki Food Festival each year includes in his program gastronomic "wanderings" aimed at young children. This year, with great sensitivity, two schools of the B Municipal Community were selected.
Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th December young students take the ladles together with professionals chef, mix the "cuisine" of Thessaloniki. The chef's "baguette" is aimed at children to adopt a healthy diet in their daily lives, with a focus on a nutritious breakfast. They will compose and enjoy the winter healthy 'ice cream' (true traditional yogurt with honey and banana in edible cones). In the festive climate of the day, using pure local ingredients, the Lilliputian cooks will make happy Christmas emoticons with real cashews, peppers, cabbage and fresh toast bread and finally a little chocolate surprise.
The culinary action of the 5th Thessaloniki Food Festival is taking part 66th and 67th Primary Schools of the Second Municipal Community of Thessaloniki. Distinguished chefs from 17.00 to 19.00, will cook in the classrooms with the young students.
